Euchre Night

Every Tuesday at 7 pm at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church basement starting June 9. $2 per night.  Come play 4 hand, 6 hand, or bid euchre, depending on the interest of those attending. Also, anyone wanting to learn Bid Euchre, we will teach you. Questions? Contact Brian 613-717-0265.

Cobden Fair Youth Fair Craft Days
For entries into the Cobden Fair.  There will be three days, July 8, July 22nd, and August 5th, from 10:00am to 11:30am at the Cobden Ag Hall, 43 Astrolabe Road, Cobden. The following crafts will be available to work on each day (all ages): 
class 101- 4 yrs and under- #5 make a caterpillar using an egg carton &
                                                          #7 make and decorate a butterfly, using coffee filters/tissue paper & clothespin
class 102- age 6 and under- #1 using dry noodles and craft supplies to create an animal  &
                        #7 make an insect using only pipe cleaners
class 103 - age 8 & under - #5 create a dragon using felt and pipe cleaners &
                        # 7 make a pinecone turkey
class 104- age 11 & under- #1 create an "under the sea" scene in an egg carton &
                        #5 design a picture using buttons on paper, no bigger that 8.5 x 11
class 105- age 15 & under- #5 make a charm bracelet using any material you want &
                        #9 make and decorate a working catapult using popsicle sticks
All participants are asked to bring any materials they have for the projects, and supplies will be available for anyone to use as well.

Renfrew Politics: A Family Tradition

On Sunday, August 16, 2026, the Bromley Historical Society welcomes John Yakabuski, former Member of Ontario’s Provincial Parliament, to speak on the political careers of his father, Paul Yakabuski, and himself. The talk, which is free to the public, will take place at 2:00 pm, in the Old Town Hall, 498 Micksburg Road, Osceola, Ontario. Come and hear an insider’s view on political life and the role that the Yakabuski family has played in Renfrew County and Ontario for almost 50 years.

Kids Fun Food Literacy Club

Children ages 4-9 are invited to register for this FREE ConnectWell program offered in partnership with Whitewater Region Public Library, Cobden Branch, and Caressant Care Retirement Home. There will be stories, snacks, crafts, and games all aimed at teaching your kids about nutrition, healthy eating habits, and where our food comes from. There will be 2 sessions: July 15th and August 19th from 1:00-3:30 pm. Children can register for one or both sessions. Spaces are limited. To register email kreaney@connectwell.ca or call 613-646-0420 x 4245. Registration deadline is Friday, July 3rd.

167th Cobden Fair

End the summer with flair! Come to the Cobden Fair!

We are celebrating the 167th Fair this year!

Back with the same great fair taking place between 28th-30th August 2026 and are very excited to announce that the 2026 Cobden Fair admission prices are staying the same again this year, along with an additional "Weekend Pass" deal!

At this early stage we are still putting together our schedule so make sure you stay up to date by following our facbook page and visiting our website frequently!

Our fair hosts a number of great events and activities. Stop by theSenior Hall to check out all the great entries into our fair book, follow on to the arena for local vendors and watch the beef and sheep livestock shows. The Horse Ring provides fabulous entertainment with Miniature and Heavy Horse shows, and you won't want to miss the Horse Draw!

There is entertainment all weekend long throughout the grounds, on the stage, in the hall and entertainers walking through the crowds. Don't miss Meet the Keepers with their fun and informative Wildlife shows.

Let the kids enjoy the Midway right in the center of our fair, along with other fun activities!

We pride ourselves on keeping Agricultural Education at the forefront of our fair so make sure to stopp by this booth, complete the informative scavenger hunt and much more!

Of coursem you don't want to miss our Demolition Derby on Saturday night, put on by the Ontario Demo Derby. All this and much more!
