January Full moon Snowshoe

Exciting News from Crossroads Community Club! We're thrilled to invite you to Crossroads Community Club's (CCC) first event of 2025—our annual Full Moon Snowshoe! Join us on Saturday, January 11th, 2025, at 6:45 pm for an unforgettable evening in the forest. After exploring the trails, we'll head back to the clubhouse to warm up and enjoy light snacks from our community potluck. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore the beautiful Crossroads trails, supported by our amazing volunteers and farmers. You'll also get to learn more about CCC's offerings and memberships. What to bring: Your snowshoes A headlamp (just in case!) A light snack to share Bring a friend, come out to play, and connect with your community under the stunning January "Wolf Moon". Breakfast Buffet

Breakfast Buffet from 7am - 10:30am at the Westmeath Hall, 119 Synton Street, Westmeath.  Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes, home fries, baked beans, toast, muffins, coffee, tea & juice.  Children under 4 - no cost, Children (5 - 10) $7, Adults $14.  A fundraiser for the Westmeath & District Recreation Association.

Good Food Box

Pay $20 and get a variety of fruits and veggies at bulk, wholesale prices! Program offered monthly. Order and payment deadline for January is January 17th. Pick-up is January 24th from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm. Pick-up locations offered in Beachburg, Cobden and Eganville. Spaghetti Supper

Spaghetti Supper from 5pm - 7pm at Trinity Unity Church, 1982 Foresters Falls Road, Foresters Falls.  Spaghetti, caesar salad, buns, homemade desserts including pie.  Adults $18, Children under 12 $6.  Take out available, Everyone welcome!

Hospice Renfrew's Volunteer Open House

A great way to start a New Year's resolution is by giving back to the community. Attend the Hospice Renfrew’s Volunteer Open House and see what volunteer opportunities await you. Students looking to acquire volunteer hours are welcome to attend. Hospice Renfrew's Volunteer Coordinator will be on hand to answer all of your questions and provide more information on the various volunteer opportunities. Drop-in to the Volunteer Open House time that best suits your schedule, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm or 2:00 - 4:30 pm.

Whitewater Historical Society AGM

The WHS will be holding its 2025 AGM and regular meeting on January 30th from noon to 3:00 p.m.

January Soup Lunch at St. Andrew's United Church, 1744 Beachburg Road, Beachburg from 11:30am - 1:00pm.  Hearty soups, delicious sandwiches, sweet desserts.  Admission by donation.  Everyone is welcome.  

Pub Night
