Service Delivery Review of Building Services for the Township of Whitewater Region

With the support of funding from the Province of Ontario’s 2 Municipal Modernization Program Intake 2 – Third-Party Review Stream, the Township engaged the services of WSCS Consulting to undertaking a Building Services Review to project will to examine opportunities to streamline process, maximize resources, and meet increasing demand. In addition, the project examined potential technological improvements to make permitting from start to finish flow better for both the applicants and staff. This project has resulted in a review of service delivery and modernization opportunities, as well as a review of administrative processes to reduce costs.  With its implementation, it will ensure proper integration with planning services, and will include collaboration with partners such as MPAC and the business community through interviews.
